KEITH SARGENT - Vocals

Keith began singing at the age of 14 months with his family’s gospel group in Detroit, Michigan.  Since then he has worked with some of the biggest names in show business, appeared all over the world, and gathered TV credits like the Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson, Dinah with Dinah Shore, Celebrity Review, European TV, and more.  His rising stardom was interrupted when he lost his young wife to cancer on a cold Christmas Eve, leaving him to raise 2 children under the age of 5. He made the very difficult decision to put his career on hold for the next 20 years and stay home with his kids to concentrate on their futures, while sacrificing a big part of his. Today, his children are successful adults and Keith is back doing what he was born to do; entertain.

Keith firmly believes that music is the soundtrack to our lives. His dynamic voice, charismatic personality, entertaining approach to performance, and humorous impressions of fun-loving entertainers like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Gomer Pyle, Tom Jones, and Elvis leave people laughing and hollering for more. His music combines classic big band songs and movie themes with rock n’ roll classics of the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. By adding a splash of country and a taste of gospel, Keith seamlessly covers all the bases and takes his audience on a trip down memory lane.

Whether he is singing a beautiful ballad, swinging to a Sinatra classic, or belting out a 50’s rock and roll tune, Keith does it all with alluring energy and class.  His fun-loving sense of humor is contagious and his talent is obvious to everyone.  This combination of great singing and a love for his audience makes him a favorite everywhere he appears. These days, you can find him performing monthly at Nashville’s new Sinatra Bar & Lounge as well at local shows. www.keithsargentmusic.com
